Ed Sheeran's tour includes a San Diego show

Ed Sheeran isn't wasting any time hitting the road to promote his new album, the wordlessly titled "÷" (pronounced - surprise! - "Divide").

The English singer-songwriter is mounting a 48-city U.S. tour that begins June 29 in Kansas City and concludes Oct. 6 in Nashville. It includes at least four California dates. One of them is an Aug. 6 show at San Diego's Valley View Casino Center, the same venue Sheeran performed at in 2014.

A ticket pre-sale for Sheeran fan club members begins Monday. Tickets for the general public go on sale March 17.

Tickets for the San Diego show go on sale March 17 at 11 a.m. at axs.com, the Valley View Casino Center box office and by phone at 888.929.7849. Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
