Green Day, the Bay Area punk band that was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, has announced its North American 2017 Revolution Radio summer tour with Catfish and The Bottlemen.

The six-week trek kicks off Aug. 1 in Auburn, Wash., and concludes Sept. 13 in San Diego at Sleep Train Amphitheatre. All of the tour dates appear below.

This will mark the second San Diego concert by Green Day of 2017 — the band’s Revolution Radio spring tour concludes with an April 8 date at Valley View Casino Center. It is difficult to recall the last time an act performed at San Diego’s largest outdoor and indoor concert venues in the same year, let alone just five months apart.

The San Diego date is one of only two California summer stops announced Monday. The other is Aug. 5 in Oakland, Green Day’s hometown.

The tour takes its name from the band’s newest album, the critically acclaimed “Revolution Radio.”

Tickets for all tour dates go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at livenation.com and by phone (800) 745-3000. Online pre-sale tickets will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. to members of Green Day’s fan club, Idiot Nation.

Tickets for the San Diego concert are priced from $30 to $80.95 each, plus service charges.
