Outdoor movies will ‘reel’ in San Diegans

Where to watch this year’s summer movie series.

As the weather heats up and the nights become longer, there aren’t many excuses to stay inside… even to watch a movie. Luckily, San Diego — the Mecca of outdoor activities — is hosting open-air movie screenings all summer long throughout the county. So grab a blanket and snacks (perhaps a bottle of wine), and catch a flick al fresco.

Bayside Summer Nights

Feel the magic of film outdoors through live music. This summer, the San Diego Symphony will bring three iconic films to life as they perform the soundtrack of these classics while guests watch the film on the large HD screen. Films and performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at Embarcadero Marina Park South, but guests can arrive as early as 6 p.m. to visit many of the food and beverage vendors. $25-$116.
