Celebrating its inaugural exhibition in San Diego, the National Sculpture Society’s Southern California division will host its first group show Jan. 7 at Sparks Gallery.

The oldest organization of sculptors in the country (clocking in at over 120 years), the prestigious National Sculpture Society selected 23 top artists from Southern California for the show. Included in the exhibition are sculptors working throughout San Diego city and county, including Del Mar, Encinitas, Oceanside, Carlsbad, and even Temecula.

A fascinating array of mediums include the bronze sculptures of Maidy Morhous and Mark Edward Adams, the wood and ceramic of Sergei Iourov, and the marble of Dean Butterfield. Peruse and ponder the gallery with a glass of wine. All wine sales benefit the San Diego Rotary Club.

Opening reception is 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7. RSVP required for free reception, to register and receive a free drink ticket visit sparksgallery.com. The exhibition will continue through March 5.
