Shake Shack pops up at Modern Times ahead of October opening

Sept. 16 event will offer guests a taste of Shack classics including a selection of burgers and signature crinkle cut fries, plus Modern Times Beer suds.

Shake Shack continues its migration westward with an opening of a new restaurant next month at Westfield UTC. But, before it officially opens its doors to San Diego, the popular New York-based chain will team up with Modern Times Beer for a pop-up event on Saturday, Sept. 16.

The event, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Modern Times Barrel-Aging Warehouse, will offer guests a taste of Shack classics including a selection of burgers and signature crinkle cut fries. And, to top it all off, tunes will be provided by Sofar Sounds San Diego.

Entrance to the event will be on a first come, first-served basis and is for those 21+ (or under 12 years old). Food and beverage tickets will be available for purchase on site.
