Since news of its devastation first hit, many San Diegans have been looking for ways in which they can help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. For one San Diego hospitality firm, it’s all about coming together for a day of community and support.

On Friday, Sept. 8, Good Time Design, owned by Ty Hauter, will donate 10% of all sales from a number of its San Diego venues.

“With the devastation in Texas, this is the least we can do to bring a little bit of San Diego love to all of the victims of Hurricane Harvey,” said Hauter in a press release on Sept. 1.

Proceeds from the day will go to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, part of the Greater Houston Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Participating venues include Moonshine Flats, The Deck at Moonshine Flats, The Blind Burro, Cat Eye Club, Bub’s at The Ballpark, Lucky’s Lunch Counter and The Loma Club. The 10% donation will come from all food and beverage orders during the full day’s sales.
